Another guru fell
I used to get so disappointed at how many were hypocrites. Now it makes sense. People cannot be gods.
The Dalai Lama cannot resign because according to claims he is the 14th incarnation of a famous Buddha. When he was 2 years old, monks went out looking for him, directed by visions and signs.
The child called out the name of the monastery that the monks had come from, as if he knew them already. Is it a made up story, or did it really happen?
It is very possible that these monks had accurate psychic information that this was the boy they were meant to take.
They take him, and it’s all okay, because he’s a future leader, it’s all divine destiny.
But destined by whom?
The path to enlightenment is in fact the devil’s labyrinth, getting lost in a world of trauma, pain, abuse and hypocrisy. There are spiritual highs and healings, and promises of good to come, but there’s always another turn to take, more to worth through.
In the West we elevate Buddhism and other spiritual practices, while condemning Catholicism as just a bunch of paedophile’s.
But the devil’s disciples do not discriminate between one religion and the next. The only requirement is a structure of power where abuse can hide.
This is why the Bible tells us, ‘Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's. clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.’ - Matthew 7:15
