Come As You Are
One of the things I love about communicating with a personal God, is that I can show up exactly as I am. This God doesn’t require me to do a million yoga poses to get there. I don’t have to stay ‘high vibe,’ and ensure I don’t let fear or negative thoughts get to me. I don’t have to watch every word I say, or image that flashes through my mind in case I accidentally create the wrong reality. I don’t have to eat a 5D diet to ensure that I continue to ascend.
I knew it the very first time I said a short prayer and instantly felt the presence of God, as if the words activated the God switch, and he was right there.
This God meets me where I am, broken, messy, sad, unwell, confused and fearful. This is not a path that requires work to reach a certain point, or a journey to enlightenment, like the end of a rainbow we can never reach.
Yes, once we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we do ‘work’ and change and evolve as people, but the presence of God is not dependent on the quality of our consciousness. Yes sometimes he will not always feel near, but he is always listening, no matter the quality of the words we try to find to speak to him.
This God is just here, for those who realise we can’t get there with our own efforts, who give up on Satan’s lie from the Garden of Eden that we can all be Gods and Goddesses.
In a complete inversion of the ‘high vibe’ concept, it is our most desperate prayers that are often the ones that gets answered.
‘Those who sow in tears will reap with joy.’ Psalm 126.
